Description
SRC Postpartum Recovery Shorts provide postpartum support and pain relief after a c-section or vaginal delivery so you can move more freely post-delivery. Pregnancy pushes your body nearly as much as extreme endurance sports. Speeding up recovery after delivery, the peak of this marathon event, is a crucial part of enjoying a healthier motherhood journey for you, your baby, and your family.
SRC Postpartum Shorts aid in the treatment of:
- C-section wounds
- Perineal trauma
- Episiotomy wounds
- Abdominal muscle separation (Diastasis Rectus Abdominis Muscle or DRAM)
- Lower back pain
- Pelvic floor muscle weakness
Designed with anti-chafing fabric and in consultation with an obstetrician for the ultimate comfort and functionality, SRC Postpartum Recovery Shorts provide the support you need to heal and move more freely post-delivery. See below for more information.
What’s the difference between a postpartum belly band or belly wrap after pregnancy and the SRC Postpartum Shorts?
Unlike postpartum belly bands, SRC Postpartum Recovery Shorts can treat multiple conditions, are more comfortable to wear, and are more likely to be worn for longer periods therefore increasing their effectiveness.
Muscle deactivation will occur if you pull the postpartum belly band too tight when putting it on. Postpartum belly bands should only be worn for short periods, for 2-3 hours to prevent deactivation of your muscles.
SRC Recovery Sizing Guide
To ensure a comfortable fit, it’s important to get the right measurement for your compression garment. As they are medical garments, they may not always correlate to general/fashion clothing sizes. General fashion sizes also vary drastically by country and by brand so we strongly recommend you have a trusted friend or loved one take your measurements and use this guide to size yourself up.
We also have a video for you to reference in terms of measuring yourself correctly. We recommend you measure from 36 weeks for SRC Recovery Shorts and Leggings.
